49th Finishers Scholarship

Renewal Eligibility

The UAA 49th Finisher scholarship is renewable for up to $8,000 maximum if you meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Received the 49th Finisher scholarship the previous academic year.
  • Maintain continuous enrollment at UAA.
  • Maintain your admission to a baccalaureate or associate program at UAA.
  • Register for a full-time (12+ credit hours) or a half-time (6+ credit hours) course load at any University of Alaska campus for your desired award amount.
  • Register for classes by semester deadlines.
  • Renew your FAFSA application by July 15 every year.
  • Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
  • Maintain your Alaska residency.
49th finishers scholarship

Eligible students can receive (up to $8,000 total):

  • $2,000 per year for full-time enrollment (enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits per semester)
  • $1,000 per year for full-time enrollment (enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester)
